All I Want for Christmas in July is ...the Audi R8

Audi R8 The temperature's rising to 90 degrees; the flowers and trees have just recently bloomed and I know that summer has hardly begun, but suddenly I can't wait till Christmas.  Isn't there a Christmas in July?

Ok, I know that the whole concept of Christmas in July is primarily used as a marketing tool, but I don't think I'm capable of waiting another seven months.  The Audi R8 is most definitely at the top of my list-- seriously, have you seen this "supercar"?

Equipped with a powerful V-8, an upscale leather interior, and a price tag of around $115,000 full-loaded, this exquisite piece of machinery deserves a place of its own, right up there beside the Porsche and the Lamborghini.

Although the uber-sleek, highly-athletic R8 almost seems to have leapt off the screen of the latest Tom Cruise sci-fi flick, it has reached its exclusive status by delivering an impressive performance.  This Audi has been touted for making 90-degree turns at 35 mph and reaching 60 mph at an amazing 4.4 seconds.

More importantly it seems, the R8 is capable of a quiet and graceful everyday drive, which I guess is the most practical thing for the majority of us anyway.

So please, keep me in mind in July... .I have been a very good girl this year (ok, for the past four months).

I don't know if I could be trusted with this one. With acceleration to 60 mph in 4.4 seconds, I'd probably make speeding ticket collection into a new hobby.

It is stunning. Audi invested like $33 million in building the R8 and it's worth it. It really competes with the big boys like the porsche and Ferrari.

This is an impressive vehicle. It looks good next to just about anything; even Iron Man. This should be quite a hit.

If you're paying a lot you'd better get a lot. I think Audi has gotten it right. This one delivers.
