Toyota is continuing its climb in American car sales. Toyota recently released its sales figures for September, 2006 and the results were astounding. Toyota's sales were up 25% from last year's September car sales.
Toyota attributes there sales increase to the success of their small car segments. It seems that Scion and Lexus cars are both scoring big with Americans. Then there are always the extremely popular Toyota Camry and Toyota Prius to thank as well. Not to mention all of the car dealer incentives Toyota has to offer.
GM was the only car company to sell more cars in the American market than Toyota last year. It is most likely going to be a fierce battle for that top spot in the upcoming months and years.
