Ford car dealers have finally been forced to stick the for sale sign onto Aston Martin. Ford's American car sales were really down this year thanks to increased gas prices and Americans' demand for smaller, more fuel efficient cars. To help make up for this loss Ford has decided to sell the British sports car company Aston Martin.
The sale should generate between $700-million and $1-billion for struggling Ford and will hopefully be enough to kick start the automotive giant. Two early potential buyers are a Swiss company called Richemont and a French holdings company called LVMH.
