If you are one of the many American drivers who have reduced the amount of miles you are driving in response to high gas prices, there may be a new way to get inexpensive car insurance.
According to a study recently conducted by the Consumer Federation of America people who report fewer yearly miles to their insurance company can save an average of 5 to 10% on their car insurance rates.
If your have recently reduced the amount of time you spend behind the wheel, even by as little as 25 miles per month, be sure to contact your insurance company and ask if you can receive any reductions.
