Have you been car shopping for a while and still can't find what you're looking for? Maybe what you need is a Geely, the first Chinese car expected to enter the American market.
More than 200 dealers across the country are already making arrangements to sell the low-priced cars starting fall 2008. To them, the cost of a Geely will only be $7,500, but the consumer retail price is yet to be determined.
For Geely, cheap doesn't mean bad quality. The automaker is making a commitment to the U.S. market and has vowed to meet all crash, emission and consumer satisfaction standards.
The economy and compact cars are already sold in Europe and Asia, and they should be available in Puerto Rico in 2006 before entering the U.S. market full force in 2 years.
